Analyze the key points of Check Valve design

Control valves are an integral part of fluid control activities and play an important role in controlling all fluids. With the development of modern technology, there is an increasing demand for Check Valve in engineering projects. High temperature valves are used in petrochemical, chemical, electric power and other industries. The long-term effect of high temperature will have an impact on the physical and mechanical properties of metal materials. Therefore, in the design and material selection of high-temperature valves, attention needs to be paid to the impact of high temperature.

Design points: When designing high-temperature valves, special attention should be paid to the effects of thermal expansion, heat exchange, and mechanical properties of materials. Depending on the thermal expansion coefficient of the material and the thermal load of the parts, the valve seat and valve core, which are heated almost simultaneously, will have different properties such as the amount of expansion at high temperatures. In order to effectively reduce the sticking or scratching caused by the temperature between components, the working gap between the Control Valve components needs to be appropriately increased. The increase in the gap should be determined by the thermal expansion coefficient of the material, stress and actual use temperature. Due to high-temperature exchange, the connection between the valve seat and the guide cover becomes loose, and the fatigue aging of the control valve components becomes serious. In the design, corresponding countermeasures need to be taken according to the specific situation. High temperatures can significantly affect the mechanical properties of materials. Depending on the temperature, the strength, hardness, plasticity, elastic modulus, Boisang ratio, etc. of the material are also different. The impact of these factors on the performance of the control valve should be fully considered during design.
Materials required for the valve body: In order to ensure the structural material requirements of high-temperature valves, hardness, impact force and wear resistance are required. We should focus on the thermal expansion of the material when selecting materials in the valve body. In addition, the probability of component damage in high temperature environments must also be considered. The material in the valve body is made of stainless steel and can be welded on the surface. It can ensure the wear resistance and corrosion resistance of the valve body. Can work normally in high temperature environment.
In the design of the frame, the pressure generated during specific use is considered. In addition, by designing the frame to a fixed pressure resistance value, sufficient pressure resistance can be ensured and corrosion can be effectively suppressed to a minimum.
Commonly used materials for Check Valve and their maximum operating temperatures: During the design process of Check Valve, attention should be paid to the operating temperature not exceeding the maximum allowable operating temperature of the material. It should be noted that in actual control valve design, factors such as medium corrosiveness and stress level must also be considered. The allowable temperature of the control valve material is actually lower than the value in the table.
