How to install a Check Valve, master the basic knowledge to get started

Check Valve is suitable for water media in non-corrosive situations. It is used to cut off and open the medium and cannot be used to adjust the flow rate. Its structure is designed based on the three-dimensional eccentricity principle, so that the spatial motion trajectory of the sealing surface reaches an ideal state. There is no friction and no interference between the sealing surfaces. The valve plate sealing ring adopts a multi-layered structure with compatible hard and soft seals, thus making the Check Valve more reliable. Sealing, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance and wear resistance are reliably guaranteed. The main material of the Universal Valve is ductile iron, which has good mechanical properties and good resistance to atmospheric corrosion. Anti-corrosion treatment is performed by spraying epoxy resin on the surface after shot blasting and curing by heating. The coating adheres firmly and has good wear resistance. The transmission device adopts a partial-turn electric actuator or a multi-turn electric actuator with excellent performance and a two-stage worm gear reduction structure. The worm gear box has a built-in limit device, and the switch operation is flexible and reliable. Electric actuators can be selected from various combinations such as ordinary type, integral type, and intelligent type.

1. The characteristics of Check Valve are as follows:

②The three-dimensional eccentric structure makes the butterfly plate close tighter and tighter, with reliable sealing performance and no leakage.

2. Installation and use instructions
①Storage: Must be stored in a dry and ventilated room. During storage, it should be in a closed state and the flanges at both ends should be closed.
②Installation: It can be installed in any position, but attention must be paid to easy maintenance and operation.
Before installation, you must carefully check whether the Universal Valve logo and nameplate comply with the requirements of the working conditions. Before installation, clean the inner cavity and sealing surface, and check whether the sealing surface, bolt connections, packing compression, and Valve Stem rotation are free. The handwheel and transmission mechanism are not allowed to be used for lifting. During installation, the connecting bolts should be tightened evenly and symmetrically. After installation, the Universal Valve must be fully opened for pipeline purging and system pressure testing.
③Use: The usage conditions must comply with the regulations on the nameplate and instruction manual. When switching the Universal Valve, use the limit point as the fully open mark. Forcibly twisting it may cause damage. The Universal Valve is opened and closed by an electric actuator, or it can be operated by a manual mechanism in an emergency (or debugging state). 3. Possible failures of Check Valve and their elimination methods
①Leakage at the hair shaft.
②The sealing surface leaks.
4. Elimination methods
① Increase the number of flexible graphite sealing rings and tighten them.
② Remove debris, replace the sealing ring, and replace the valve plate.
