2. The Globe Valve needs to be inspected on time
The Globe Valve for compressors is an automatic valve. Its working principle is that when the medium pressure in the air compressor or pipeline rises above the specified value, it will discharge the medium out of the system to prevent the medium pressure in the pipeline or equipment from exceeding the specified value. Special valves with specified values can play an important role in protecting air compressor operation and personal safety when the control pressure does not exceed the specified value. According to the "Safety Technical Supervision Regulations for Globe Valve", the periodic inspection of Globe Valve is generally at least once a year. The safety technical specifications should have corresponding provisions.
3. Calibration method of Globe Valve for compressor
① Offline calibration of Universal Valve calibration bench: Install the Globe Valve on the calibration bench, then use the calibration medium to open the Globe Valve, and confirm the opening pressure by observing the pressure gauge. However, this method cannot take into account the back pressure Globe Valve and the check of the Globe Valve for high temperature or low temperature media.
② Universal Valve online instrument calibration: It is to measure the downward spring force acting on the Globe Valve through external force. This can be used to calculate the opening pressure of the Globe Valve. This method generally does not affect production and system pressure. Without any changes, the detection speed is relatively fast and convenient, but this method cannot detect the sealing performance of the Globe Valve.
③ Validation of the Universal Valve boost type jump method: the Globe Valve is installed in the system, and the system artificially increases the pressure until the Globe Valve jumps to observe the opening pressure of the Globe Valve. This verification method will damage the sealing surface of the Globe Valve. The return is larger, and the risk of operation is also greater than others.
