Basic knowledge of Check Valve

The so-called Check Valve is a valve that automatically opens and closes according to the flow of the medium itself. It is a valve used to prevent the reverse flow of the medium. It is also called a Check Valve, one-way valve, reverse flow valve, and back Pressure Valve. The stop valve is an automatic Universal Valve. Its main function is to prevent the reverse flow of the medium, prevent the pump and drive motor from reversing, and prevent the drainage of the container medium. Stop valves can also be used to supply auxiliary systems where the pressure in the pipeline rises above the system pressure. Stop valves are mainly divided into rotary valves, top Universal Valve (which rotate according to the center of gravity) and lift valves (which move along the axis).

1. The valve disc of the Throttle Valve is disc-shaped and rotates on the rotating axis of the valve seat channel. Because the channel in the valve is streamlined, the flow pressure is smaller than that of the butterfly Throttle Valve, which is suitable for low flow speed and large diameter situations where the flow does not change much. Butterfly Check Valve are divided into three types: single-disc type, double-disc type and multi-half type. These three forms are mainly divided according to the diameter of the Universal Valve. The purpose is to attenuate the hydraulic shock when the media stops flowing or reverses flow.
2. A Throttle Valve in which the valve disc rotates around a pin in the valve seat. The Throttle Valve has a simple structure, can only be installed on horizontal pipes, and has good sealing performance.
3. A Universal Valve whose valve disc slides along the center line of the valve body. Pipe-type Throttle Valve is a new type of Universal Valve. It is small in size, light in weight and has good processing technology. It is one of the development directions of Throttle Valve.
The function of this type of Universal Valve is to only allow the medium to flow in one direction and prevent the flow in that direction. Usually this kind of Universal Valve works automatically. Under the pressure of fluid flowing in one direction, the valve disc opens; when the fluid flows in the opposite direction, the fluid pressure and the self-weight of the valve disc act on the valve seat, thus cutting off the flow.
Internal thread Throttle Valve and butterfly Throttle Valve belong to this type of Universal Valve, which include swing Throttle Valve and lift Throttle Valve. The swing Throttle Valve has a hinge mechanism and a door-like valve disc that freely rests on the inclined valve seat surface. In order to ensure that the valve disc can reach the appropriate position of the valve seat surface every time, the valve disc is designed in the hinge mechanism so that the valve disc has enough swing space and allows the valve disc to truly contact the valve seat. The valve flap can be made entirely of metal, or it can be inlaid with leather, rubber, or synthetic coverage on the metal, depending on the performance requirements. When the swing Throttle Valve is fully open, the pressure is almost unimpeded, so the pressure drop through the Universal Valve is relatively small. The valve disc of the lift Throttle Valve is located on the sealing surface of the valve seat on the valve body.
1. When the medium flows in the specified direction, the valve disc is opened by the force of the medium; when the medium flows back, the sealing surface of the valve disc and the valve seat is tightly sealed due to the self-weight of the valve disc and the reverse force of the medium. Combined and closed to prevent the reverse flow of the medium.
2. The sealing surfaces of the valve body and valve disc are made of stainless steel surfacing.
